- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into one-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine crushed tomatoes and oregano; simmer for about five minutes.
- Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the warm tomato sauce and serve immediately.
