  • 4 hot dogs (beef, turkey, or veggie)
  • 4 slices thick-sliced bread (sourdough or Texas toast)
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • Optional toppings: mustard, relish, jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place one slice butter-side down on a clean surface.
  3. Add one hot dog and a generous amount of cheese on top. Cover with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
  4. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket and cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the sandwich using tongs and air fry for another 3-5 minutes until both sides are crispy and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before slicing in half.
