  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy; add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed.
  5. Prepare cream cheese filling by mixing cream cheese with remaining sugar until smooth.
  6. Scoop dough portions, flatten slightly, add about a teaspoon of cream cheese filling in the center, then fold dough over to enclose it.
