- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Add melted butter and eggs to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in flour until combined. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- For the filling, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out risen dough into a rectangle and spread melted butter over it. Sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly; roll tightly.
- Cut into 12 rolls and place them in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise while preheating the oven to 350°F.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Drizzle with icing made from powdered sugar mixed with milk.
